Single pole tents have a new construction with hexagon-shape base. They are used mostly as mobile bars and restaurants.
Their construction is based on the central pole with adjustable height consisting of 3 parts, each part is made of aluminium profile with decreasing section. Individual pole parts are removable by means of a telescopic mechanism placed inside the profile and activated by means of a crank handle. A pole constructed this way enables its adjustment within the range from 410 cm to 600 cm. Optimal height of a large tent equals 500 cm, with circumference diamater of 1750 cm. With such arrangement, the distance between the arm peaks equals 875 cm.
Tent sheathing spread on hexagon base is fastened to the ground by means of steel pins. Additionally, in the tunnels, a cord is pulled along the tent arms, enabling even stretching of sheathing on the entire tent surface. Tent sheathing is made of polyester fabric protected against UV radiation, fire-proof and water-resistant.
